Sharing pages

You can share your MyPIP page with others and use pages shared by others.
This way you can e.g. share a company and/or project page with colleges or make a special interest page and share it with others.

Only the owner can maintain his/her page. This means that if you share your page, only you can make changes to your page. Others can only use (see) your page.
And ... you can make no changes to pages shared by others.

Using other pages

To add a shared page to your MyPIP:

  1. Switch on the 'tabbed' page layout by selecting the option 'Show tabs' in the configuration screen (menu 'Config') and save the changed configuration.
  2. Get the page name (user name) and 'share code' for the page you want to add from the owner of the page.
  3. Add the page after opening the 'tabpages configuration screen' by clicking on the button on the far right side of the tabbar. Give the tab any name you want.
  4. Save the 'tabpages configuration'.

Now you have an extra tab for added page on your MyPIP. Click on this tab to show the page.

Sharing your page with others

To make your page available for others:

  1. Select the option 'Share this page' in the configuration screen (menu 'Config') and enter a (secret) 'share code'. Save the configuration.
  2. Give your page name (user name) and 'share code' to the other users you want to be able to use your page.
    Do not give them your password! They only need the 'share code'.

The other users can now add your page to their MyPIP (see above).

When you disable 'Share this page' or change the 'share code', others can no longer use your page, unless you tell them your new 'share code' and they update their 'tabpages configuration'.

Back to your personal page.
